Polyphony Workshop online
Since the 2nd of November, in the context of the overall measures taken in response to the second wave of the pandemic, the function of the Centre for Greek Music Foivos Anogeianakis was also suspended. Since the 7th of November the increased measures for the restriction of circulation were generalized, imposing a general lock-down all over Greece.
Since the 12th of November the seminars of the Polyphony Workshop are being continued online, on the familiar day and time (every Thursday, 18h00-19h30). The Polyphonic Caravan, the same as during the first quarantine (March - May) skips over the period's difficulties in a creative way, taking also care, among other concerns, of the support for the continuous function of the Polyphony Workshop.
The online workshops continue with a more and more increased participation, by searching for and using ways of passing the restrictions, through the strength of the polyphonic song, the communication of the knowledge coming from the kyrantzides (drivers) of the Polyphonic Caravan, the participants' consistency and passion.
