"Springtime of Polyphony" - An event dedicated to the polyphonic songs of Ano Pogoni
Wednesday 21 March at 8 p.m.
An event organised by the Polyphonic Caravan and the Polyphony Workshop at the Center of Greek Music "Fivos Anogianakis' in Athens!
With the polyphonic group "Chaonia" and its students of the Polyphony Workshop singing songs coming from Dolo, Polytsani, Chlomo villages of Ano Pogoni.
With projection of videos - parts of field-based recordings of the Polyphonic Caravan in Dolo, Pogoniani, Sopiki, Polytsani. With a presentation by "kiratzis" (leader) of the Polyphonic Caravan, Alexandros Lampridis.
With musicians and two clarinets accompanying our dance, Christodoulos Papastathis and Dimitris Spiliopoulos.
And with free entrance!
